Located just a stone’s throw from the Hotel, our Self Catering apartments offer an exceptionally high standard of accommodation. With the option of choosing from either a one bedroomed or two bedroomed apartment, enjoying a longer stay in the Lakes with the freedom of having amazing walks right at your doorstep has never been simpler.

For those who wish to bring your furry family member along for the holidays, we have two dog friendly apartments available. Please select the “Dog Friendly Apartment” option when making your reservation.

Each spacious apartment has been designed with your comfort in mind. A modern kitchen with an abundance of appliances assists in keeping you self-sufficient over the duration of your stay. However, for that extra pampered holiday feel, why not let us do all the hard work for you and wander into our Walker’s bar for a meal or a drink?

Electric storage heating, direct dial telephones and smart TVs with freesat are all provided. The apartments all benefit from underfloor heating in the bathrooms to help warm you up even when the weather is inclement. We can supply sets of towels for the duration of your stay, simply select how many sets you will require in extras when making your reservation.

The self-catering experience we offer is perfect for walking and family holidays due to our prime Lake District location. Our apartments give you the best opportunity to get out there, explore and enjoy all that Buttermere and surrounds has to offer without the need to move your car!

SELF CATERING FAQ’S

The One Bedroom Apartments are on the ground floor and each have their own private patio and access to the communal lawn. The Two Bedroom Apartments are on an upper level and each have their own private balcony.

Linen is provided for beds and sofa beds in all apartment’s; however, towels are an additional extra. Please select how many sets of towels are required in the Additional Extras Section when making reservation.

An extra charge is applied per day for your dog. Please remember to select dog friendly apartment when making reservation and select how many nights your doggy will be staying in the Additional Extras Section.

A non-refundable deposit of £200 is required at time of booking, with the balance being payable six weeks prior to arrival. Please see Terms and Conditions for more information.

One Bedroom Apartment = bedroom is made as a double. Two Bedroom Apartment = upstairs room as double, downstairs room as twin. We can make all rooms into twins if required. Please select bed configuration in Additional Extras Section when making reservation.

Our mattresses are medium

Wifi is available in the apartments, however it is rural wifi and can therefore be intermittent.

The apartments are equipped with televisions. As Buttermere does not receive a strong signal, every apartment is equipped with a Freesat box to enable viewing of free to air channels.

All apartments are equipped with basic cooking utensils (pots, pans, fry pan), cutlery and crockery.

Each apartment has an upright fridge/freezer 50:50.

Car parking is provided onsite. Prior to your arrival the Hotel will email you the current code to the barriers for entry into the carpark.
