Walking holidays in extraordinary Lake District properties. 

Inspired by chalet holidays and the traditional ‘alpine way to stay’, CoolMeets have partnered with Post Knott Lodge & Southview Spa to offer the opportunity to stay in these wow factor properties, combining home comforts with a step-up in luxury.

Explore this wonderful area and meet like-minded people. 

CoolMeets offer self-guided walking routes, directly from the properties or via public transport (you are welcome to drive but incorporating a bus or boat ride can add to the adventure). Walks are leisurely-moderate, 1-5 hours, up to 500m. All walks are bespoke and designed with complete flexibility in mind (you never know how you’ll feel or what the weather will be like!)

All holidays are tailor-made and adult-only. You are welcome to do as much or as little as you want, and use all the incredible facilities the properties have to offer.

You are welcome to add guided walks or other activities to your stay.

Private packages for walking groups or special occasions can also be arranged.

Post Knott Lodge

The ultimate wow factor dream home. Situated in Bowness-on-Windermere, it’s a short walk to the lakeshore and nestles under Brant Fell, offering unrivalled panoramic views over Lake Windermere.

It boasts luxurious facilities, including a stunningly designed open-plan kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows, and an extensive patio and BBQ area. Southview Spa

Boasting a rich history since 1840, Southview Spa has been recently refurbished to an impeccable, high-spec standard.

Situated in Windermere, less than two minutes from the train station, it’s a perfect base from which to explore all that the Lake District has to offer.

Unwind and relax in the luxury oxygen-treated indoor heated pool and hot tub, meticulously designed to provide the ultimate chemical and chlorine-free swimming experience. The outdoor barrel sauna, cinema room, lounge and games room provide a variety of spaces to enjoy and recharge.
