About

Once a 17th century traditional working farm, our lovely self catering barns, Situated and surrounded by wonderful views of the Langdales, Loughrigg and Furness Fells, provides a peaceful and tranquil setting for your stay in the heart of the Lake District. Come and relax, enjoy a warm welcome and experience a slower, peaceful pace of life in this beautiful setting.

There is a choice of three self contained self catering barns. Low Barn sleeps 2 adults, or 2 adults + 1 child under the age of 10, whilst The Grainstore sleeps 2 adults. The Byre can either be rented with one bedroom for 2 adults or rented with Pinfold for a family which gives an extra twin or king bed. All have complimentary luxury toiletries. Due to our remote location there is a weak but useable wifi signal. Secure Bike Store and Drying Room on site.

Our Farmhouse is also available for exclusive use self catering. With 5 en-suite bedrooms, lounge, dining room, large farmhouse kitchen and shared use of a beautiful large garden with views over Loughrigg Fells it is a perfect getaway for up to 10 people. Together with the barn rooms it could accommodate 18 people.

Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay in our self catering cottages. We ask that dogs are not left unattended inside the property and that they are kept on a lead within the grounds and in neighbouring fields due to chickens and livestock. We provide a dog gate between the main living area and the tiled kitchen area and we expect dogs to be kept in the tiled area and off the soft furnishings.
