The Inn on the Lake Hotel enjoys one of the most spectacular settings in 15 acres of grounds with lawns sweeping to the private lake shore of Lake Ullswater.

The Inn on the Lake has 46 en-suite rooms with most having breath taking views of Lake Ullswater or looking towards the magnificent Helvellyn mountain range. Experience our Luxury Collection bedrooms, these stunning bedrooms are the most beautiful rooms.  We have seasonal offer you can enjoy and are open all year round.

The relaxing atmosphere of the Orangery makes it the perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea. The atmosphere of the lounges and orangery with their roaring fire offers a wonderful spot to indulge in a luxury afternoon tea during the winter months, or in the warmer months the large outside terrace and gardens are a bright alternative with beautiful surroundings and views to the Lake.  This is a pet friendly area.
