In the heart of the Borrowdale valley with views across Derwentwater, the four-star Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa is a Lakeland hotel like no other. If you’re planning scenic walks, a day of pampering, or boat rides on the lake, the breath-taking scenery of the Lake District is right outside your window.
Known for friendly service and tempting menus, the Lodore Falls offers morning coffee, lunches, light bites and afternoon tea in the comfortable lounges, conservatory, Lake View bar and outdoor terrace. Open throughout the day to everyone, your four-legged friend can even join you whilst you dine in our dog-friendly library lounge area.
In the evening you can experience some of the region’s finest cuisine served in the elegant 2 AA rosette Lake View restaurant, or sample the flavours of Asia in our newly opened, AA rosette, restaurant Mizu, serving a variety of Asian inspired dishes including Japanese, Malaysian and Thai. Translated as falling water from its Japanese roots, Mizu is a light-flooded contemporary space with open kitchen and outdoor riverside terraces with views of the spectacular Falls waterfall.
The Falls Spa offers an invigorating alfresco spa experience, including an open-air cold drench bucket and hot shower. The highlight has to the 16-meter outdoor infinity edge vitality pool, one of the largest in the country, with neck jets, underwater loungers and an amazing overflow hot tub, arguably the most Instagrammable location in the Lake District!
To compliment the Falls Spa, the hotel has introduce 18 new contemporary and spacious Spa Suites, which feature contemporary decor and designer furniture, luxury bathrooms and cosy seating areas. Most offer floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in wardrobes and superb views over the lake, forest or fells.
Spa access and experiences are available to anyone over the age of 16 years if accompanied by an adult (18+) Guests staying in the Standard, Classic and Lake View rooms can enjoy a 2-hour time slot in the spa for GBP 25 per person between Sunday - Friday or GBP 35 per person on Saturdays, subject to availability.
