Just a hop, skip and a jump from Coniston Water in one direction and the seaside in the other, Moss Side Farm is in the ideal location for exploring the very best of all the Lake District has to offer.
Situated at the foot of the simply stunning and wild Duddon Valley and commanding spectacular views stretching for miles over Kirkby Pool and the Duddon estuary, Moss Side Farm boasts a quiet, off the beaten track glamping holiday in one of the Lake Districts most beautiful and wild places. While you certainly feel a million miles away from anywhere, it’s just a half an hours walk away along the old railway line to the beautiful village of Broughton with it’s award-winning bakery and butchers as well as a selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Thirty minutes walk the other way over the hill is the Blacksmiths Arms, a traditional Lakeland pub with exceptional food (booking essential).
Six of our yurts are situated in their own exclusive field, all of which come with their very own private Scandinavian wood fired hot tubs. Blackberry yurt is situated high up on the top of the hill overlooking the campsite with simply magical views over the and beyond, a real treat for those looking for that out of the way spot
Scandinavian wood fired hot tub available to book with Elder, Sorrel, Bluebell, Meadowsweet, Dewberry and Cloudberry Yurts only.
