Snuggle down in one of our popular heated and insulated camping pods or enjoy a stay with a difference in our beautiful Shepherd’s Hut. Glamping in the Lake District is a brilliant way to stay in the great outdoors!
Park Cliffe offers a range of 15 camping pods which offer a great experience and a bit more comfort than a traditional camping break. All you need to bring is your camping gear – minus the tent!
Each pod has plenty of headroom, standard pods provides ample space for 2 adults and 1 child. Family pods can accommodate 2 adults and up to 3 small children and our Premier pods can accommodate a family of 5. Family plus pods can accommodate a family of 4. All our Pods have a carpeted or vinyl flooring and a double socket with a light and small heater. A small deck at the front provides a sitting area. Beds are not provided in the standard and family pods and the use of airbeds is recommended. The Family Plus pods have 2 single beds and 2 roll out foam mattresses. The Premier pods have a double bed, bunks and a trundle bed. Sorry we are unable to allow smoking in the pods. One dog is allowed in the standard pods only.
Our Shepherd’s Hut has been exquisitely made for us by a local craftsman to a bespoke design. It’s a cosy holiday hideaway for 2, nestled in a quiet and secluded spot near to the stream.
If you’re new to glamping, this is a perfect choice; more luxurious than a traditional camping pod and packed with home comforts. Our Shepherd’s Hut is beautifully furnished throughout with comfortable accommodation and plush cushions and throws.
The Hut sleeps 2 people on a double bed. There is also a sofa and table.
Underfloor heating will keep you warm and cosy, even on the coolest of days, and when the sun shines you can enjoy the views from balcony seating area.
The hand-crafted kitchenette houses a Butlers sink, small fridge/ice box, microwave, kettle and toaster with small amounts of crockery and cutlery.

Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 36 and follow the A590 to Newby Bridge. Turn right onto A592 for 3.6 miles and take a right turn (the site is signposted). Park Cliffe is approximately 1/3rd of a mile on right. We advise visitors to Park Cliffe not to use satellite navigation devices as they often route vehicles through the area’s many narrow lanes. Best progress will result from using these directions.
