About

Riverain Coach House is a haven. Unwind in its deep leather sofas beside a roaring log fire with a glass of wine. Riverain is a 5* rated, Gold Award winning property under the VisitEngland rating scheme. It is set within a Grade II historic listed sandstone carriage house & has access to the grounds of Blencowe Hall as well as having its own private garden area, gravelled parking and sandstone terraces.

Its garden looks onto Mell Fell in the Lake District. Our estate at Blencowe is located about 4 miles from the Lake District National Park and close to two excellent pubs - one in the village of Greystoke called The Boot and Shoe and The Clickham Inn which is just past the village of Blencowe.

Riverain has three ensuite bedrooms and accommodates up to six guests. The Ullswater Room and the Derwent Room may be arranged as 3 foot single beds or as a six foot king size bed depending on your preference. The Derwent Room is on the ground floor with an ensuite shower room. The Haweswater Room has an ensuite with a cast iron bath and a glass screened shower over and the Ullswater Room has an ensuite shower room.
