Situated next door to Yewfield is the old stable building where we have our self-catering apartments – Rowan, Mulberry, Yewtrees and Swallows Nest. And across the stone wall with enclosed garden we have Rose How where Rose How 1 and Rose How 5 apartments are located. Set in over 80 acres of grounds with lovely walks straight from the door onto Tarn Hows, one of the Lake District's featured beauty spots.
Swallows Nest
Swallows Nest is a delightful conversion of the top floor of this lovely old coach house and offers comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people in picturesque rural surroundings.
With glimpses of Lake Windermere and the distant fells from the top floor windows, the famous Tarn Hows is just a short walk away, with the gardens and grounds at Yewfield also available for you to explore.
Mulberry
This comfortable studio apartment includes a king-size double bed which can be made as a twin with en-suite bath and shower. There is also a kitchen with open plan dining area ideal for 2 people allowing comfortable self-catering. The cottage benefits from TV with DVD player and wireless internet access.
A seating/dining area on the private deck with French windows into the room completes the package.
Yewtrees
A luxury studio apartment is a wonderful place for a retreat for two with over 80 acres of private grounds leading on to spectacular Lakeland walks enjoying the very best of the English Lakes.
Rose How 1
This comfortable studio apartment has recently undergone refurbishment from one of our suites into self-catering for those wishing to have there own Lake District hideaway holiday.
With a separate kitchen dinning area with French doors leading on to a private garden and lovely Lakeland walks straight from the property.
Rose How 5
A lovely studio apartment with bi-fold doors onto a balcony overlooking a private garden and the fells beyond.

Rowan
Rowan was a studio apartment and has now been converted into a simple self-catering space, ideal for two situated on the ground floor with bi -fold doors onto a decking area lovely grounds to explore leading on to the Lakeland fells makes an ideal getaway for a simple retreat.

Yewfield is situated in 80 acres of private grounds at Hawkshead Hill; 1.5 miles from Hawkshead, 4.5 miles from Ambleside and 9 miles from Windermere train station.FROM AMBLESIDE: Take the A593 towards Coniston and after 0.6 miles, at Clappersgate, turn left onto the B5286 towards Hawkshead. After approx 1.5 miles turn right towards Coniston, Tarn Hows and The Drunken Duck.
