A simple sixteenth century building, the Hall is available for private functions other than weddings. Suitable for a wide range of daytime activities, including birthday and anniversary parties, study days (a tabletop screen and projector table are available), exhibitions, retreats, meetings, craft days and as a painting studio.
Having an area of 722 sq ft, it has space for up to fifty five people. It has excellent natural light, heating, toilets, a small kitchen, seating and tables. It also has a small car park.
The Hall has been modernized and opens into a sheltered Victorian verandah which houses part of the Poetry Walk. Here, the poems of the winner and eight runners up of the biennial Mirehouse Poetry Prize are displayed.
The Hall is also used regularly for cookery demonstrations throughout the year.
£120.00 for up to 20 people, £235 up to 40 people and £350 for up to 55 people.
