Staff are absolutely brilliant here. Always there with a smile and very helpful. Food is fabulous and the view from the restaurant across the gardens was beautiful. Bowness was very very busy but this is a peaceful haven away from the crowds.
Just back from a two day break at Burn How. It is so relaxing, the staff are brilliant and very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is of a really good standard. I have no criticism whatsoever! Looking forward to going again next year, or earlier if I am lucky!
I found this hotel last year, and having to stay in the area again, I had no hesitation booking into this hotel. The staff are excellent, very helpful. The rooms are nice and big , spotlessly clean with everything you would ever need. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever had, worth staying just for the breakfast. Central location but nice and quiet, with a short walk to the town centre. Great value for money.
Booked a dinner, bed and breakfast package at Burn How for my parents. They loved everything about this hotel, the garden room, the breakfast, the restaurant food, the staff. I also found the staff helpful when dealing with my booking from another country/time zone, and not following their usual payment process. The location is also great, being quieter than central Bowness/Windermere, but only a short stroll to the lake or the town centre. My parents say they would love to stay there again, which says it all really.
Six walkers in three twin rooms and everything spot on Lovely friendly staff and really good breakfasts. Rooms clean,warm and comfy. Really handy for Bowness centre. Just to reiterate the staff are a really mixed group from youngsters to slightly less young but all super efficient and welcoming, Well done
A brilliant 3 night stay at Burn How House Garden Hotel. All staff friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Melissa in the restaurant looked after us so well the food is excellent the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. Dinner choice brilliant house menu or a la carte mix and match. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.
