Windermere Restaurant, now known as The W at Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa, offers a seasonal British and continental menu. Featuring a range of refreshed classics and modern favourites, each dish has been lovingly crafted by our inspired team of chefs, with a passion for local produce. From romantic meals to family celebrations or small business dinners, whatever the dining experience, Low Wood Bay's Windermere Restaurant The W with its warm bright artwork and jazz vibe is one of the best restaurants in the Lake District creating English Lakes memories that last a lifetime.
The Wine Collection
The W could also represent Wine with a fabulous selection of 28 wines by the glass. Using a "state of the art" wine refrigeration and preservation system can serve wines such as Chateauneuf du pape, Telegraphe from the Rhone, Chateau Musar from Lebanon, and Chablis 1er Cru from Burgundy to name just 3 great wines all by the glass.
Like everything in life a fine wine is better if experienced exactly as intended. An extensive list by the bottle is, of course, also available together with some incredible cocktails and refreshingly friendly and knowledgeable service.
Sunday Lunch
Sunday lunch is a delicious British classic and The Windermere Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy it. We have a changing menu of meats with classic sides like Yorkshire Puddings, roast potatoes, parsnips and more every Sunday.
