Our Commitments to you
Sustainability, Management and Safety.
Sustainability
We are continuously looking at ways to be more sustainable – we have a long way to go, but presently:
CUPS
No cups at feed stations. All athletes MUST carry a reusable cup with them on the event.
T SHIRTS
We all love a t-shirt when we finish. However, we do offer the choice of a t-shirt OR for us to plant a tree on your behalf.
Help us make a difference.
Water Safety, Medical & Delivery Teams
We work closely with first class, professional water safety and medical teams. We involved our safety teams in the ideas we have in delivering the event so that safety for all our athletes, supporters, event staff and locals are safe.
We work alongside the UK’s leading water safety specialists who work across many of the country’s largest mass participation sporting events. They know the Lake District very well indeed.
Our medical team is led by a local team who specialise in bespoke safety solutions for outdoor sports events.
Biosecurity
We work closely with the South Cumbria Rivers Trust to provide appropriate biosecurity measures for our athletes to protect the precious environments of our events.
Solo and Team Tickets Available
Swimrun Coniston for solo and team entries on all three race distances.
