All of our rooms at Victorian House Hotel are individually designed to showcase the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the quirks of our period building. There is a character filled space for every occasion, so whether you’re escaping the city for a relaxing break or planning an adventure packed family weekend, Victorian House provides the perfect base to surround yourself with beauty in one of the world’s most spectacular heritage sites. Breakfast is included in all of our room rates so you can be sure to kick-start the day with a hearty breakfast! Check-in starts from 15:00pm.
Closure Dates 2024: Victorian House will be closed from December 22nd following check-out, reopening on December 27th for check-in at 15:00 in 2024.
Two Room Suite
This room is perfect for larger families who need extra space to spread out. Enjoy a two room suite in our cottage, with a larger spacious room and a smaller cosy room just a few steps away. We maintain the boutique feel throughout the cottage rooms for those who may want a longer stay.
Our cottage is just a stones throw away from the main hotel, within earshot of the river at the rear of the garden (access is via a gate with little tots in mind!)

Family Rooms
We want Victorian House Hotel to be your home away from home and that’s why we’ve tailored our facilities and services especially for families and children of in mind. Many of our rooms can accommodate extra beds for children and we have a safe and comfortable travel cots available to ensure your toddlers and babies get a good night’s sleep.
Ideal for couples who are after extra space or families on a short break to the lakes.

Dog Friendly Rooms
Designed with your four-legged friend in mind our dog-friendly rooms boast convenient features to ensure a relaxing stay for the whole family. All dog friendly rooms have hard flooring throughout and can use our warm outdoor tap so you can wash off muddy paws after a day of exploring!
