We have stayed at the Burn How a number of times. The comfort is very good; the food excellent; and the staff (including proprietors) appear to have 'instant memory syndrome' each time we arrive. Happy staff produce very happy customers/visitors.
Six walkers in three twin rooms and everything spot on Lovely friendly staff and really good breakfasts. Rooms clean,warm and comfy. Really handy for Bowness centre. Just to reiterate the staff are a really mixed group from youngsters to slightly less young but all super efficient and welcoming, Well done
Had an amazing time here. Our room was lovely and clean with extra measures in place. Check in smooth and quick. Breakfast was really nice and tasty. Thank you to the young man and Linda for a great stay.
Fantastic hotel. Some of the most welcoming, happy and friendly staff we have ever come across. The decor and gardens are beautiful. Our room opened out to the beautiful garden which was a real treat in the morning. The breakfast was sublime. Parking space right outside our room is also so convenient and in stark contrast to previous stays elsewhere in bowness. A great walk was recommended and our little one loved finding the secret Burn How inscription en-route which also earns us a free drink when back at the hotel. This hotel is overdelivering on my expectations.. fantastic.
Had an excellent stay in this amazing hotel . A warm welcome on check in which was quick . The rooms were large and comfortable with balcony and view over the lovely gardens. Everything you needed in the rooms including iron bathrobes etc . Loved everything about this hotel and will return.
Stayed here for 1 night and what a great place , lovely Chalet with large en suite double room with kingsize bed and car parking space outside the room , perfect location for lake or Bowness-on-Windermere town , and the breakfast was really good , will definitely stay again.
