Road Directions

Rydal Hall is to be found off the main A591 road between Ambleside and Grasmere.
Approaching from Ambleside, about 1 mile after leaving the town, take the turning right uphill, sign posted Rydal Hall, blue sign and Rydal Mount, brown sign. The Hall is first on the right, through wrought iron gates.

Approaching from Grasmere, take the first left uphill after the Glen Rothay Hotel. The Hall is first on the right, through wrought iron gates.

'Rydal Church' bus stop on the A591 road is 200m from Rydal Hall. The 555 and 599 buses regularly pass here.

The nearest railway stations are Oxenholme and Windermere.
