About

Below the Langdale Pikes sits Sticklebarn, a National Trust run pub serving food and drink that celebrates Cumbria’s food heritage and local produce. An outdoor terrace and real log fires offer the perfect place to share stories of adventures on the fells over a pint of Cumbrian ale.

Sticklebarn’s new menu features a choice of planet friendly meals, including meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes. Working with Small World Consulting, the pub has taken the step of calculating the carbon footprint of the menu. They now print the CO2e (carbon equivalent) of each dish on the menu. As many of the ingredients as possible are sourced from the surroundings and all profits are invested back into the magnificent landscape.

Dogs on leads and muddy boots welcome inside and out.
