About

The Fish Inn offers a full menu whether you are staying with us, just visiting or walking. As well as a full menu of delicious home cooked food, we are also passionate about Real Ales. Our guests can always find a selection of good quality locally produced Ales.

The Fish Inn is comfortable and informal, full of charm and character with historic importance as the once home of Mary Robinson, the maid of Buttermere. We are a small friendly family-run establishment at the centre of Buttermere village, a short stroll from Buttermere lake and Crummock Water surrounded by unbeatable views including Wainwrights favourite fell, Haystacks.
