Whether visitors are new or returning we provide a warm welcome, helping dialysis patients enjoy a well deserved holiday in the Lake District.
Lynne Alderson is the manager of the clinic, and has been a renal nurse since 1989. Lakeland Dialysis business owners Lynne, and her husband David are committed to offering the provision of high quality holistic care that all haemodialysis patients from throughout the UK, and beyond, expect and deserve.
The dialysis clinic is set within a modern building containing around a dozen offices, free parking, including a designated disabled area is just outside the main entrance.
We dialyse up to 3 patients per shift. The clinic utilises a high quality individual water purification system, and is equipped with 4 HDF dialysis machines, this includes a spare machine in case of breakdown.
Specially designed, fully reclining chairs provide maximum comfort whilst dialysis is performed. The room is open plan and this facilitates the constant observation of all of our patients.
Free refreshments provided include tea and toast, biscuits and cold drinks.
Digital TV is available together with a free wireless internet connection.
The rear of the clinic provides a pleasant garden view, visitors may even see one of our red squirrels.
Lakeland Dialysis Limited is registered with the Care Quality Commission and all
dialysis is delivered with the use of high specification, HDF Fresenius machines.
Bookings can be made by phone or by making an online booking enquiry through our website. Patients currently receiving NHS care will be funded.
