Do you want to meet or take an alpaca for a walk? Of course you do!
Well now you can, as Alpacaly Ever After... are thrilled to offer meet & greets and alpaca walks for you, your family and friends at the stunning Lingholm Estate along the shores of the famous Derwent Water. Our walks take you through private grounds normally closed to the general public, get to know our wonderful alpacas up close, take them for a paddle (or a swim!) in the lake, meet the herd, take part in feeding time, ask as many questions as you can think of and take as many selfies as you like! We'll record your adventure with photographs throughout the walk absolutely free of charge!
Meets and Greets last 30 minutes, while walks last around an hour and a half and are available at flexible times to suit you, bring your wellies!
The walk is a flat gentle stroll (at alpaca pace!) suitable for all abilities and can be adapted for wheelchair users (Private Walks only). Suitable for all ages.
Under 10s can accompany for free on Private Walks and are not included in the booking numbers but must share with a paying adult. No under 10s on Mixed Group Walks. No accompanying walkers. All visitors over 10 yrs must be paid for as part of the booking. All visitors under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a parent as part of the booking. Groups of up to 12 walkers on Private Walks. Groups of up to 8 on Mixed Group.
Site facilities include cafe and bakery with washrooms, free carparking and disabled parking, walled garden, grounds, jetty onto Derwent Water. Also accessible by Keswick Launch Ferry Service.

We are a Social Enterprise that rescues and rehomes Alpacas and Llamas, their health and welfare is our main priority. We look forward to sharing our Woolly Army with you.

Meet & Greets start at £12 while Private Walks start at £80 for two people, prices increase with the number of alpacas, group discounts are available see online. Children under ten go free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. The Meet & Greets are suitable for all ages but children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
