About

Alpaca walks and experiences in Cumbria.

Alpaca walking is a fabulous activity for those who wish to spend time in the countryside and get up close with these wonderful and friendly creatures.  Walk through the private grounds of the estate, where The Fitz, an early 19th century mansion, sits, and take as many photos as you like with our wonderful alpacas.

During one of our alpaca experiences you will have a tour of the grounds alongside our charming alpacas.  Not only are the grounds beautiful, they are bursting with history.  There was an archaeological dig here a few years ago where the oldest coin in Cumbria was found, dating back to 200BC.  The site was also a signigicant Roman homestead.

As well as meeting and walking the alpacas you will see our emus, ponies, turkeys, and sheep.  If you are really lucky, you may see deer on our woodland trail.

We also offer alpaca experiences for weddings, festivals, and corporate events.  We are extremely proud of our alpacas.

Although they look similar, each has their own individual personality and all are a joy to meet.

We are open every day for walks.  Pre-booking Necessary.
