Ghyll Scrambling - Coniston
One of our more aquatic ghyll scrambles. This hidden gem is situated just a stones throw from the village of Coniston. This ghyll is a truly unique environment - its picturesque nature, the sounds and feel of rushing water is something that will stay with you forever.
In its tree covered steep gorge walls, you will take the plunge into crystal clear pools and scramble your way up rocky waterfalls. This ghyll has it all!! Deep pools, jumps, scrambles, climbs and slides.
Our expert guides know the ghyll's intimately and will tailor the day to your group offering up loads of fun challenges along the way. All the challenges, jumps, pools and climbs are optional.

We use a variety of Ghyll Scrambling venues around Coniston, Langdale, Eskdale and Wasdale. We'll use the best venue to suit your location and group. Minimum age of 4 years.
We also have the ultimate all-day adventure with our Extreme Ghyll - not for the faint hearted. It involves loads of massive jumps of up to 8 metres in height!!! (Minimum age of 14 and a reasonable level of fitness required as this is a very physical day).
