Have a go at rock climbing on a friendly rock face under the guidance of a qualified and experienced instructor. Detailed directions will be provided upon booking. During the season and throughout the school holidays, we offer a programme of taster sessions, meeting a short walking distance from the crag by one of our experienced instructors, these three-hour sessions will give you a taste of what rock climbing is all about. Minimum Age: 6
West Lakes Adventure provides bespoke outdoor activities for individuals, couples, families, groups, schools, colleges, stag and hen parties as well as events for organisations. We tailor our outdoor activites to meet your needs, whether you are looking to run a half day programme, full day event, weekend or even full weeks.

From the A595 at Foxfield turn right just before the traffic lights after you pass Broughton-in-Furness. Follow the road through Ulpha, cross the bridge past the post office then take the next left this is sign posted to Eskdale. Follow this road over Birker Moor until you reach the King George IV pub. Turn right at this junction and carry straight on for approximately three miles. From the A595 at Gosforth turn left through the village, cross the mini roundabout and then take the turning to the right. Follow this road through Eskdale Green village until you reach the King George IV pub. Turn left at this junction and carry straight on for approximately three miles.
