You are here: Home > Things to Do > Joint Adventures - Gorge scrambling and Canyoning
Gorge scrambling (gorge walking or ghyll scrambling) involves walking or scrambling up a mountain stream. There are small waterfalls to scramble through and usually small pools to swim in. There are sometimes small jumps depending on water levels. Your instructor will guide you up the ghyll and challenges can be avoided or taken on. This activity is very wet and lots of fun.
Canyoning is coming down the gorge. This is done by a mixture of scrambling, jumping, abseiling and sliding. Canyoning is often done as part of a gorge session depending on the water levels and nature of the group.
