About

Just a few minutes walk from the town centre in a lovely location beside the river Greta with glorious open views towards Skiddaw and Latrigg, this award-winning attraction offers fascinating changing exhibitions.

The Museum provides a snapshot of what makes this area, located in a World Heritage Site, so special. Highlights include an opportunity to play the Musical Stones of Skiddaw and to see examples of decorative metalwork from Keswick School of Industrial Arts.

It’s a great day out for families as the ticket includes trails and activities to help you enjoy our amazing eclectic collection.

Located in the Museum is the Cafe West with outdoor seating available, overlooking Fitz Park and the children play area.


All areas are fully accessible.
