Wandering Aengus Treks are based in the Lake District and are the specialists in self-guided Lake District walking holidays. On the majority of their itineraries you will have at least two route options each day, so you can choose between a moderate walk or a more challenging hike. They also provide guides for individuals, groups and organisations who want a day or a week of walking and/or scrambling.
As well as a wide range of Lake District itineraries, Wandering Aengus also have self-guided walking holidays on all the major Long Distance Paths of Northern England, including Hadrian's Wall, Dales Way, Cleveland Way, and Pennine Way.
Self-guided packages include ensuite accommodation, breakfasts, luggage transfer (where applicable), maps and route cards or guidebook, information about the local area and facilities, and an emergency contact number.
From £79 per night. Prices are per person based on twin share and include: accommodation in en-suite rooms on bed & breakfast basis; luggage transfer between overnight stops; comprehensive information pack including maps, route guide, details of local facilities such as cafes, restaurants, shops, ATMs etc.; and an emergency contact number.
