Mini-Mountains: Family Adventure Day with The Lakes Mountaineer
About
Bring the kids and join The Lakes Mountaineer for your holiday activities. A full day of mountain activities when you will go abseiling and climbing in the morning, followed by a treasure hunt in the afternoon. Ideal for kids 7yrs+ old. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Itinerary
We'll start with a rock climb and abseil session a few minutes walk from the car. After a lunch break, we'll go on a treasure hunt, map in hand and go adventuring (don't tell the kids they are learning to navigate!), returning to the start by 4pm (the day could be reversed if weather dictates).
However: walking, climbing, navigating, abseiling - the mix is up to you.

- Food - We'll return to your car for lunch, so you don't have to carry it, but bring snacks and drinks with you each half-day.
- Warm Clothing - Bring more than you think you need!
- Waterproofs - Top (always - it is also windproof) and trousers (if any rain possible)
