About

Want something fun and a little bit different this holiday?  Try something new and exciting in the adventure playground that is the Lake District. Take it at your own pace and make your time with us as action packed or relaxing as you want. We will design a day or break tailored to your needs.

Some of our most popular activities include: -

150ft Abseiling - The ultimate adrenaline rush! Take a relaxing 25 minute walk through the woods to a magnificent old slate quarry now preserved by the National trust. Discover the history of the quarry and explore the cavern and tunnels. For those that dare finish with a 150ft abseil down into a disused green slate quarry.

Ghyll Scrambling – A half day full challenges fun and laughs. Scramble your way up a mountain river, jumping and scrambling through stunning pools along the way.

Extreme Ghyll Scramble - Not for the faint hearted! If swimming in crystal clear pools, scaling waterfalls and massive jumps (up to 8m) are your thing, this full day adventure will be right up your street.

Canoeing - Explore one of the Lake Districts famous lakes and see the magnificent scenery from a Canadian Canoe. Visit hidden coves, remote islands and jetties to jump off, making this one to remember. Make a whole day of it and add in a BBQ or Bushcraft lunch.

Rock Climbing - Challenge yourself and have a go at Rock Climbing. The Lake District is the birth place of Rock Climbing offering some of the finest climbing in the UK.

Archery – Fancy your-self as the next Robin Hood or Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games? Join us for a fun packed archery session with expert coaching, competitions and action-packed games.

Bushcraft - Come and learn some survival skills. We will cover the exciting and essential skill of how to make a fire using various traditional methods, make shelters using natural materials, learn to make something with a bushcraft knife and cook something delicious over the fire.

Guided Mountain Walking - Wherever you wish to go, let us take the stress out of your day. Your expert local guide will navigate you every step of the way, sharing with you an insight into the history, geology & nature.

Mix and match a few activities to make the most of your weekend.
