About

Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) is a fantastic fun water activity and is fast becoming a very popular paddlesport! SUP is an exciting & fun sport that can be enjoyed by anyone, you don't need to be super fit or super skilled to take part, it is surprisingly easy to get the hang of! We will meet in the Wasdale valley and send you instructions upon booking.

Daily Stand Up Paddle Board Hire on Beautiful Wastwater, Hire a board from our HQ in Eskdale and head to the Lake in Wasdale for day out SUP'in.

Hire a Paddle Board to discover Wastwater - Englands deepest lake and favourite view!

Full Day Hire is from 10am - 5pm - £40

Half Day Hire is from 10am - 2pm - £30

Our paddle Board package include:

• 1 x Inflatable Paddle Board & Pump

• 1 x Adjustable Paddle

• 1 x Leash

• 1 x buoyancy aid

• 1 x Safety and Instruction Leaflet

Wetsuits can be hired at an additional charge of £5 and can be added to the booking.

Extra Buoyancy Aids can also be hired on the day for an additional £5.

West Lakes Adventure provides bespoke outdoor activities for individuals, couples, families, groups, schools, colleges, stag and hen parties as well as events for organisations. We tailor our outdoor activites to meet your needs, whether you are looking to run a half day programme, full day event, weekend or even full weeks.

Road Directions

From the A595 at Foxfield turn right just before the traffic lights after you pass Broughton-in-Furness. Follow the road through Ulpha, cross the bridge past the post office then take the next left this is sign posted to Eskdale. Follow this road over Birker Moor until you reach the King George IV pub. Turn right at this junction and carry straight on for approximately three miles.From the A595 at Gosforth turn left through the village, cross the mini roundabout and then take the turning to the right. Follow this road through Eskdale Green village until you reach the King George IV pub. Turn left at this junction and carry straight on for approximately three miles.The nearest railway station is Dalegarth, which is 1 mile away.
