Much more than your usual zoo, Safari Zoo is home to over 1,000 of the most rare and endangered animals in unique natural environments, enabling you to get as close as physically possible to experience the most amazing species with which we share our planet. Many of our residents play a key role in Endangered Species Breeding Programmes - visit to find out more about how you can help to conserve species in the wild.
Our unique Worldwide Safari area ensures this will be a trip you will never fur-get! Walk amongst, and even have a go at hand feeding, our free roaming Red and Grey Kangaroos – spot and say G’day to Rufus, Damien and newest babies Madison and Jalapeno! Get the feeling you are being followed? Then you probably are here, by the mushroom-seeking Mrs Muntjac!
Catch the pawesome sight of Andean Bears Mona and Zippi climbing the trees.
Cat Lovers have the perfect place to get close to Jaguar Mum and Son Remi and Bonita, Snow Leopard pair Wolfgang and Kadi, Tiger twins Cinta and Kumbuh, Canada Lynx Brothers Saguenay, Lowe, Nuna & Logan and African Lions Chevelle and Scooter!
Take a flightless trip to Africa to observe in awe as White Rhinos Muzungu, Huubke, Spud, Ntombi, Zuki and little Princess Zahra roam the savanna alongside; Zebras Pippie and Banzai; Wildebeest George & William, Nyala Marj and Kordofan Giraffes Eller, Bonamanzi, Katoumi, Elouise & Gaya roam the Savannah.
Meet friendly Reindeer boys, Treacle & Cinnamon, be amazed as Spoonbills and Macaws soar overhead in Tambopata and venture into Illescas where Condors and Vultures fly free!
