About

The shoulder of Black Combe summit is hunched between the Irish sea and the high mountains of the Lake District fells. The most westerly outrider, the summit is hard won, but the views are unrivalled, with a 360 degree panorama of mountains, sea and sand. The descent is long, flowing roll down the soft peaty flank of the hill. The huge grin factor ride down is well deserved!
