About

Ullswater Kayak Tours.

Ullswater is considered by many to be the most beautiful of the big lakes. It features islands, bays & beaches, and lots of scenery.

The ethos on the trips is always the same. Enjoy the scenery, have a chat, pass on a bit of knowledge and learn from people looking for a similar experience.

There’s no set route, that will depend on conditions and group ability. We use Double ( Tandem ) Sea Kayaks for maximum comfort, dryness and stability. See the FAQ page for more information.

Aira Force waterfall is very close by. A variety of walks or hikes, easily accessible, many with great views of the lake itself are all around the area. Many people walk on a fell or hill one day then come on a kayaking tour the next for a different view of the lake. Quite a few then book a spa day somewhere, needed or not.
