About

The Lake District is a a gteat place to visit especially if you are planning a special ocassion.  Bithday, Stag and Hen parties are great fun if you add adventure.  This might be a relaxing trip on the lake or a more exciting plunge down a gorge.  Which ever you choose we will equip you with all you need to have a great day.

You can choose from almost any activity which we offer but our most popular activities are listed below.

Gorge Scrambling /canyoning

Gorge scrambling is our most popular activity amoungst all of our groups.  It involves going up a gorge or mountain stream.  It is a very wet activity (we always provide wetsuits).  This activity does run thoughout the year but we don't tend to do much between the end of October and the start of March.

Canyoning involves coming dow the gorge.  This does require more commitment because of the jumps which are quite intimedating and not for those who are not comfortable with heights.  We do not canyon during March to April.

Most groups enjoy a mixture of scrambling and and canyoning.

Kayaking, caoeing and raft building

These activities are very popular for groups with a wide range of ages and levels of fitness.  With kayaks and canoes your session can be based on taking a leisurly journey on the lake or a session of fun challenges and games.  Kayaks are paddled solo whilst our canoes are most often paddled with 2 or sometimes 3 people.  Raft building is very popular.  It is a mix of being creative with your engineering and adventure with paddling on the lake.

Tag Archery and target archery

This is by for our most popular land based activity for parties.  You get to have a shoot out with your friends.  After a bit of getting use to shooting safely at targets you progress ont shooting each other.  (a bit like paint ball but without the bruising and all the armour).  This activity is good all year around even if there is snow on the ground.  You should defninitely check this out if you are visiting in the colder months and want an energetic activity.
