The Wordsworth Hotel is beautifully located in the village of Grasmere.

We have a choice of beautiful licenced locations either indoors or outdoors. We are located next door to the historic St Oswald's with a live string quarter or harpist accompanying your walk down the aisle and while you enjoy champagne and canapés during your reception. The mountains create a stunning backdrop for your ceremony and will give you photographs to cherish forever.

For your reception 'The Coleridge Suite' is the perfect place to host an evening's entertainment and as a purpose built facility it has the advantage of air conditioning, staging, a built in dance floor and also state of the art atmosphere LED lighting. With the possibility to dress the room in your chosen colour you can really theme your evening to match your colour scheme adding a unique and exciting feature to your day. With its own dedicated bar you and your guests will have the exclusive service that your day demands without having to share facilities.
