Explore the changing seasons and find inspiration in the beautiful landscape colours of autumn with golds, plums and russets. Discover ways to use gouache paint and combine with water-soluble Inktense blocs to paint and draw. This workshop encourages a more expressive way to respond to the landscape. Based in the stunning Kentmere valley, you will be inspired by the views. The day includes a tasty 2 course lunch, teas and coffee throughout the day and a slice of cake to finish.

Your tutor, Karen Lester enjoys working with a range of painting and drawing media including printmaking, sometimes combining these to create mixed media images. Each type of medium brings its own exciting possibilities and unique qualities, something she continually explores from her studio base is in the south Lake District, an area where she can spend time immersed in the landscape.
