About

New for 2021 - the frothiest 5k is coming to Chances Park in Carlisle!

Bubble Rush is a fun run with a difference - lots of coloured bubbles! You'll start in a sea of foam and then take on four bubble stations around the course, where foam canons create an incredi-bubble 4ft bubble bath!

Run, walk, toddle or dance your way around the family-friendly course. Don't worry if you're not a runner - the event isn't timed so you're not racing against anyone and there's no time limit. The course is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, and there's no minimum or maximum age limit, so everyone can take part. Raise funds for charity.

The charity partner of Bubble Rush – Carlisle is Marie Curie.

They're here for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. They offer expert care, guidance and support to help them get the most from the time they have left.

Their nurses work night and day, in people's homes across the UK, providing hands-on care and vital emotional support. Their hospice in Newcastle, offers specialist round-the-clock care. And they support people throughout their illness by giving practical information, support from trained volunteers and being there when someone wants to talk.

They would be delighted if you could include some fundraising or make a donation to show your support for the charity.

Your ticket price only covers the cost of putting on the event. However all proceeds from fundraising, individual and corporate sponsorship and event day activities including bag drop and merchandise sales will go directly to the charity.

Once you have signed up for Bubble Rush you will receive further information from Marie Curie about how you can support the charity as part of your preparation for the event.

Please note:

The run will start at 11am. Registration and t-shirt pick up will open at 9.30am
Under 16s must be accompanied around the course by a paying, participating adult
Under 3s take part for free, but do not receive a medal or t-shirt
Bubble Rush is not your usual fun run, so please read the Terms & Conditions on their website before signing up.
