Gosforth Agricultural Show offers plenty of amusement for the family, it's an event not to be missed!

2024 attraction is Steven Longton and his Sheep dogs. Steven Longton is an experienced shepherd and sheepdog trainer and is currently competing alongside his dad, Thomas Longton, at various sheepdog trials. He has appeared on the BBC and represented England as a youngster on ‘One Man and His Dog’. Steven has been giving sheepdog demonstrations with either sheep, geese and ducks throughout the British Isles at large country shows or small village fetes. The display presents an educational experience, where the skill and commitment of a working sheepdog, doing its daily work, is exhibited.

Also in the Main Ring - the Costume Concours d'Elegance, whereby riders, both side saddle or astride will dress up in costumes from years gone by to look as elegant as possible. Weather permitting, there the vintage section will show off their beautifully restored vehicles in the main ring.

The grand parade of prize winning exhibitors from the mornings judging will also parade. After the parade there will be some fun classes in the show jumping - Horse & Groom/Horse & Hound and the big prize money pot for the Accumulator.

Non stop action from the show opening it's gates to the early evening - loads to see and do.
