7:00 - 9:00pm: Swing dance band, The House Of The Black Gardenia will lead a short swing dance taster session to help you dust off your shoes then enjoy the 8 piece band play hot vintage swing. Tickets £3.00, refunded off your first drink from The Bumble Bar available at House Of Meg and www.greencroftonthewall.com

9:00 - 9:30pm: Bring your lantern and join in with the Community Lantern Parade. Follow the band New Orleans style from Gilsland Village Hall to Willowford Farm.
9:35pm Bagpiper, Allen Clement plays Diu Regnare. Allen is a prize winning solo piper who has played with various pipe bands over the years, including The Vale of Atholl and Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary bands. Allen's cousin is Piper Major Stuart Liddell who composed Diu Regnare as a tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

9:40pm Trumpeter Lara Hopper will officially announce the lighting of the beacons with a specially written bugle call, entitled Majesty.

9:50pm Our community choir led by Lindsay Hannon will sing A Life Lived with Grace, which has been written and composed by Lucy Keily, from Australia, and Vincent Atueyi Chinemelu, from Nigeria.

10:00pm Beacons lit across Hadrian's Wall. Our brazier has been sponsored and constructed by DNV Spadeadam. Beacon lit by the oldest & youngest members of the community.
