
The Helvellyn Triathlon is one of the UK's toughest and most scenic triathlons, held annually in Glenridding, Cumbria, in the Lake District. The course features a 1.5 km swim in Lake Ullswater, a 59 km bike ride that includes the grueling climb up "The Struggle" to Kirkstone Pass, and a 15 km fell run up Helvellyn, England's third-highest mountain.
