This traditional little agricultural gem, nestled on the northern edge of the Lake District National Park, is a firm favourite with visitors and exhibitors alike. Offering a wide range of family friendly activities and attractions, you are sure to find something to suit everyone, all in a vibrant and friendly atmosphere.

Following a sensational 2023 Show with record attendance, we look forward to again welcoming some of the top livestock & horse breeders from the North of England and Southern Scotland. 

New for ‘24 is a further class to our extensive vintage machinery section, ‘Most Original Agricultural Tractor’.

New for the sheep classes is ‘Any Pure Continental Sheep Breed’ incorporating classes for Gimmer Lamb, Tup Lamb, Aged Female & Aged Tup. 

With an array of trade stands, craft tent and classes for working dogs, pet dogs, children’s fancy dress, horticultural and industrial sections, there is most definitely something for everyone. 

The day will again culminate with Champion of Champions and Grand Parade. This will be  followed by the infamous Hesket Newmarket Terrier Racing and Cumberland Wrestling, with classes for all ages and abilities.
