About
Every year, the National Theatre commission ten new plays for young people to perform, bringing together some of the UK's most exciting writers with the theatre-makers of tomorrow. 300 youth theatre companies and over 6000 young people from every corner of the UK take part and produce a Connections play each year.
Theatre by the Lake's 2023 Connections Festival in March will be an explosion of Cumbrian talent, featuring four incredible local youth theatre groups including our very own TBTL Young Company. Two days, four companies, four plays and one big event! See website for full details.
