Vintage Model Railway Exhibition, Blindcrake Village Hall, 5th & 6th July 2025
The Hornby Railway Collectors Association was founded in 1969 and has around 2500 members worldwide. The Borders Counties Group of the HRCA has been asked to repeat the very successful exhibition we held last year.
There will be working layouts of clockwork and electric trains that are up to 100 years old. Come and relive your childhood, bring your children and grandkids to show them what you used to play with - and we still do! You will be able to drive some of the exhibits. The trains are mainly Hornby gauge 0 and 00 from 1920 to 1964 plus other contemporary toy makers such as Trix Twin and some modern manufacturers.
Entrance receipts will be split between the Village Hall and Isel Church. Refreshments will be available.
£4 for adults and £1 for school children. Note this is a cash only event. Open 10am – 5pm on Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sunday.
