If traveling from the M6 (north or south), leave at J36 and head west along the A590. Follow the brown signs through Grange-over-Sands, Flookburgh and Cark. We are about 1 mile beyond the village of Cark. If traveling from the central Lake District, follow the A592 south to Newby Bridge, turn right on to the A590 and then turn left on to the B5278 at Haverthwaite. We are approximately 5 miles south of Haverthwaite. If traveling from West Cumbria, follow the A595 south to Grizebeck, then the A5092 link to the A590.
