Why not indulge in a bit of winter magic and take part in the Winter Droving Festival. Held annually, this quirky event will return on Saturday 26th October 2024
Join in this vibrant festival, which celebrates rural life with a day of fun, food, masquerade and fire. There’s street theatre, local market stalls, live music and the highlight of the day: a fire and lantern procession which travels through the town, watched by thousands of spectators.
Visitors are encouraged to don masks and many make their own for the occasion - so it’s time to get creative!
This year's event will take place on 26th October 2024.
