Extend the festive period with a trip to the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway and experience the wonder of winter in Eskdale. With the excitement of the big day over, our Winter Warmer Trains are a great way to get the whole family out of the house. Our stations and trains will still be adorned with Christmas decorations to add a little sparkle to your visit, and there are scenic walks at both ends of the line for that all important fresh air! 

Enjoy a festive train ride and warm up with a complimentary cup of non-alcoholic festive fruit punch and a mince pie with each full-line return ticket. See the engines dressed in their festive outfits and take advantage of our vantage points for the best pics at the Turntables and passing loops. Taking pictures is free, making memories is priceless.  Our cafes, gift shops and the Railway Museum will also be open whilst trains are running. Tickets can be booked online or purchased on the day at the ticket offices, subject to availability.
