The ultimate adrenaline rush – Explore a hidden quarry then abseil 150ft into its depths!
We'll take you on a guided walk through beautiful woodland and 16th-century slate mines with their rich history. The destination is Cathedral Quarry - bought by Beatrix Potter in 1929 and donated to the National Trust, it is preserved today for its geological interest as an important part of the local landscape.
We’ll guide you through the awesome caverns and tunnels of the quarry and share with you our local knowledge and fascinating history of the quarry.
