Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland are working with our partner Lakeland Mountain Guides to bring you this fantastic opportunity. A chance to sign up for the challenge of a lifetime and raise funds for your local Hospice at Home charity. We encourage our community to support this important fundraising event on our 2024 calendar.
The Challenge:
This guided walk will take you to the lofty summit of the 4th highest mountain in England, Skiddaw. You'll watch the world around you go golden before strapping on your head torch and descending down under darkness, all under the guidance of Lakeland Mountain Guides.
Chasing sunrises or sunsets, although not always fruitful, are an excellent way to enhance your mountain adventures.
The sunset (approx. 10pm) will be a time to reflect and take pride in the accomplishment, taking in the magical picturesque views of the Lake District. Once the sun disappears below the horizon, walkers will be guided down the peak, descending via Jenkin Hill.
For more information and how to sign up, please visit our website: www.hospiceathome.co.uk/event/summit-at-sunset/
Early Bird Offer of £15 off the registration fee ends 28th March. Just add EARLY BIRD OFFER into the promo code area on check out.
