About

The Coniston Inn is located on the shores of Coniston Water and offers something for everyone.

Enjoy all-day dining at the newly renovated Coniston Inn. From full Cumbrian breakfasts, small plates and snacks, to hearty lunches and evening meals, plus our daily changing specials showcasing local Lakeland produce, this inn is the place to come for good food, no matter the time of day.

Sit back, relax and enjoy delicious food and drink in a historic dining area with an eclectic mix of Lake memorabilia. On warmer days why not enjoy alfresco dining or drinks in the garden courtyard, with sweeping views down to Coniston Water and the Lake’s famous peaks?

Tuck into The Coniston Inn’s Sunday Roast, with generous helpings of carved meats or vegetarian alternatives, homemade Yorkshires and crispy roast potatoes, alongside freshly prepared seasonal vegetables.

If it’s just a drink you’re after, The Coniston Inn takes pride in looking after beer the old-fashioned way, which ensure the perfect pint every time. Sample local real ales, including guest hand pulls on rotation, as well as continental lagers and scrumptious ciders. With a gin selection so varied you won’t know what to choose, why not ask a bartender for their personal favourite? Fancy something warm? The wide range of Ringtons speciality hot drinks is sure to hit the spot.

Muddy boots, children and dogs are always welcome!
