The Walkers Passport

If you are walking the Westmorland and Furness Way, you are experiencing the story of this remarkable landscape. Keep a record of your journey by collecting stamps along the route. One stamp is required per section to obtain your completion certificate. Stamping stations are located in tourist information centres, attractions and local businesses along the route. If you are starting your walk in Alston have your passport stamped at the beginning of each section.

Across the area, local people are working to protect what makes this route so special by restoring habitats, repairing paths and helping nature recover. By buying the Westmorland and Furness Way passport you are playing a part too. The profits from every passport will go towards the cost of keeping the path open and accessible for walkers and local communities.
