Walkies is Ulverston’s welcoming hub for walkers, hikers and dog lovers exploring the Westmorland & Furness Way. Just a short stroll from the start of the Cumbria Way and surrounded by miles of scenic trails, the shop is designed to support anyone heading out onto the fells, coast or countryside.
Inside, you’ll find a carefully curated range of walking essentials — including maps, guidebooks, hydration bottles, socks, first aid kits and practical accessories for day walks and long distance routes. Everything is chosen with real walkers in mind, making it easy to pick up last minute kit or discover something new for your next adventure.

Walkies is equally known for its natural dog treats and canine gear, making it a favourite stop for people walking with four legged companions. From wholesome snacks to dog friendly water bottles and trail accessories, the shop helps keep every pup fuelled and comfortable along the way. Visiting dogs are always greeted with a free treat and access to the hydration station.
